Wait, it's March, so why are we still donating to rescues starting with the letter G?
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, a number of our factories are still shut down or operating at limited production capacity. Our leash and collar orders are delayed and their ETA is unknown.
Because of this we started to slow down our donations about 2 weeks ago just to conserve some inventory. We normally carry 3-4 months of regular inventory. But because of 1 for 1 match we actually carry double that amount of inventory. So we really have 6-8 months of inventory if we make available all the inventory that was slated for donations.
So, long story short, we are pausing donations to conserve inventory temporarily until we have a clearer idea of when production will resume in our factories. We don't want to run out of inventory 3 months from now. We still have electric bills, rent and people to pay.
All sales during this time will still get a 1 for 1 donation and once we know our production schedule, we will resume donations and catch up with our donation schedule. All rescues will still get their donations!
